Week 15
The internet tools that I have used have been very helpful. This is the first semester I have tried other search engines besides google and ask.com. I still perfer google the most. I have also never had a blog before this class and I feel it has been very beneficial to the writing process. It has allowed me to write each week what information I have and it helps me not procrastinate.

Week 14
This week has been very busy for me, with other classes. It has been hard to do research. But I did get one of Alice Sebold's books that I have not read, I started to read it to learn more about her writing style, but once again time is not on my side.
I have found more web pages as well
http://www.enotes.com/lovely-bones/author-biography
I also found her myspace page which gives a lot of personal information about her, by her, i thought that was interesting.

Week 12
For my researach I think I have decided to write about Alice Sebold, one of my favorite authors. She has writeen a couple of books that I have really enjoyed. The Lovely Bones and Lucky. These books are very different and this is one reason I would like to research her. I would like to know why she writes the way she does. When I search her I will search her name, titles of her books and i can also find information in her books.

week 10
I have created two types of interviews. One type is to ask people who are not aware of what the church believes, questions that they have about the church or things that they have heard and think. Other interview is to interview members of the church and ask them questions that others have asked and their thoughts as well as interviewing a member of the bishopric, leadership within the church, asking questions directed o the history of the church.

week 9
I have begun writing my paper. I have realized there are very few websites that are trustworthy of information about the church, but many books I have found that have a lot of information about mormons and the history. There is a lot of information from people I talk to as well. I have learned a lot and it has been a great experience for me.

week 6
I found the best webpage to use for my topic is lds.org. It has the most true information about the religion. Most websites i found do not always post facts about this religion and may even be anti-mormon. I think that finding information from the church is the best way for me to go. I am also finding a lot of information in church history books.

Enlg 112 comments
I had some really good comments and suggestions for my topic. I think that when I write my paper I will make sure to talk about Josheph Smith, people suggested this as well well informing about missionaries. I am also going to research how the church started and what the beliefs are. I think that i still have a very large topic disscusion and need to make it smaller.

For my paper it is difficult to find key words. I have used related words to this religion. For examples: Mormons, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, LDS. I have also researched key people in the religion, such as former prophets, and today's leaders. My key in researching is to make sure it is the truth and what really happened in history or facts about beliefs because there are so many anti-mormons that put wrong data in public.

ENGL 112, Topic
The topic I chose is history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints religion. It is a broad topic and I plan to narrow it down as well as I can. I chose this topic because I think that it is beneficial to learn about religions, I feel that it is good to know the history and background of a religion. Even if I am a member of this religion it is always beneficial to learn more. Within every religion there are anti books and people who speak against it, I am interested to find correct information and share that with others.
Through the 2008 political debates the LDS religion has been mentioned a lot so I think that now is a good time to lean more. I know a lot about my topic already, but I still have a lot to learn. It is one thing in my life that I am very interested in and excited to do research about. I want to learn details about the religion and differences in other religions as well.

Morgan ENGL 112 topic
Thinking of a research topic has been really difficult for me. I would like to write about something I am interested in. I am thinking about using one of the topics that you have suggested, extinction of dinosours is a topic I may use. Another topoic I am interested in writing about is about the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am not sure if we are allowed to write about religion or not though.
